Hi, my name is Jazzy Thompson and I am the owner of ThreeBeautyCo. I started braiding hair as a child on my big head barbie's hair. My mother's side of the family is full of hair stylists and braiders, so you would imagine that I'd pick up one of those natural God-given talents. I learned how to braid from watching my aunt and older cousin, and then going to my head doll to try it out and practice myself. I was so excited once I had finally gotten it down.
When I turned 15yrs old, I started braiding my own hair because I got tired of waiting to get my hair done. I bet you can't guess what I did next?!. If you guessed that I started doing my own quick weaves and natural styles, then you guessed right. While doing so, I learned something UNIQUE about myself from listening to the comments of others. I could braid my own hair upside down AND make the parts in the back of my own hair straight. I found that to be unique to me because I always heard, "How'd you get your parts so straight in the back?" or "You can braid upside down?" That was only the beginning. I never knew all of that would lead to me opening and owning a hair boutique.
